The Illusion of Fair
Furthermore, what’s fair is ultimately subjective. It has its roots in our upbringing, in our experiences. What seems fair for some is utter unfairness for others.
That life is unfair is common knowledge. We seldom accept the fact, but deep down, we know it well.
When I think of fair, images of kids whining come to mind:
“It’s not fair that I have to share!”
